When slow-moving planet of power, death and rebirth - Pluto - moves from one Zodiac sign to another, crisis and change ensue in the areas of life associated with that sign.
For the first time since the late 1700s, Pluto moves into Aquarius on November 19, 2024 where it stays until the year 2043. Some have hailed it as the entry point into the fabled Age of Aquarius.
For the last 15 years, Pluto has been disrupting and transforming the earthy, material realm of Capricorn. Institutions of government, finance, banking, and the infrastructure of our lives are far different today. The area of your life (i.e. the house in your chart) in which Capricorn resides may well have felt unstable and been turned on its head once or twice - or more - in that time.
For the next 20 years, the transformations come in a very different way. Whereas Capricorn is an earth sign, related to the material realm and the structures of our lives, Aquarius holds sway over the social realm, including how we connect and think as a society, as well as the world of information and technology.
We have already had a taste of Pluto in Aquarius since it first dipped into the sign in March of 2023 for a short period. And what became one of the biggest headlines over the past two years? The disruptive (Pluto) influence of artificial intelligence (Aquarius).
In the workshop, I explored the interpretation of Pluto and Aquarius, looked at some of the historical effects (such as the birth of the U.S.), and offered strategies for working with this placement in your own life.
